The ability to place outgoing calls by inmates is a privilege. All phone calls originating from the facility are recorded and monitored. Inmates may lose their phone privileges at any time. Newly lodged inmates will have access to phones after completing the booking and intake process.
Outgoing phone calls are allowed between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM. The total duration of an inmate phone call is 15 minutes. Calls made by inmates are charged in one of three ways:
- Collect calls to a home phone
- Pre-paid calling card, sold by the Jail to the inmate
- Family or friends can set up a pre-paid account on their home or cell phones to accept inmate calls. This can be done by contacting Legacy Inmate Communications at 1-888-729-4326.
When receiving a call via the Inmate Phone System, a recorded announcement will precede your conversation. This announcement will contain information about the charges associated with the call, as well as how to block phone calls from the Jail.
Inmates are not allowed to receive incoming phone calls.
Jail staff will not pass messages to an inmate.
