I am Sheriff Gilbertson and it is my honor to be your Sheriff. This site is developed to keep the public informed on what is going on in your Sheriff’s Office.

Here are just a few of the many remarkable achievements of the men and women of the Sheriff's Office have achieved since 2007.
- Increased rural patrols to 20 hours per day with emergency response 24 hours a day
- Increased the inmate population to 140 and up to 160 on a short term basis to stop the rotating door on the “Fail to Appear."
- Implementation of a Traffic Safety Unit.
- Exceptional compliance with the Oregon Jail Standards.
- Implemented several means of instant public emergency notifications.
- Enhanced training to deputies to ensure they are provided with the skills and tools necessary to help keep you safe and tackle the many challenges they face every day.
